Six Issues later, here we are! Every story shared, every conversation had and every connection made, is what makes being part of this team absolutely worth it!
We thought to introduce ourselves to you, dear readers, and hopefully even encourage you to consider joining our team or contributing more of your stories and perspectives to this platform!
Makhethe Mpoti Vuma
In one or two sentences, what do you do on the team?
I am part of the editorial team. I’m always on the lookout for new ideas for the newsletter.
Why did you join the newsletter?
I founded the idea of the newsletter as a vehicle for Basotho diaspora voices on any topic. I am so grateful for the editorial team who bought into this idea and have worked on many issues since the beginning. I also appreciate contributors who trusted us with their stories, photos, etc. I would love to see more global representation of contributions in the future.

I am a regular contributor to the Lesotho Diaspora newsletter.
Why did you join the newsletter?
I became aware of this wonderful adventure that is LDN and decided to become involved when I accepted an invitation from Dr. Mpoti Makhethe Vuma. She had a fabulous idea of creating a newsletter that would be a platform for Basotho across the globe to dialogue and share their experiences. The idea won me over and, as they say, the rest is history - Voilà!
Lerato Mensah-Aborampah (aka Rakhali Lerato 😂)
In one or two sentences, what do you do on the team?

I also enjoy interviewing people in general so I love to contribute interviews to the newsletter! Finally, I help edit articles submitted to our publications and lightly manage our social media pages.
